Stop YELLING Across the Room!!

It's been 2 weeks and 5 days that we've been temporarily living my with dad while my house is still be repaired from the water damage issue. His house is about 1400 square feet, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and has a 2 car garage. It's a nice house, but the layout, not so much. His bedroom is smack dab in the middle of the living room and the spare bedroom. He's self-employed, therefore his wake-up time is usually 8am or later. On the other hand, my boys and I have to leave by 7:15 every morning to get to school/daycare/work. And for the last two weeks, the main issue every morning has been their voice levels. They get louder...and louder...and louder...until finally they yell from the living room to the spare bedroom and it cuts right past my dad's bedroom. I cringe every time (my dad's the kind that growls in the morning; I remember my childhood days well. Unless you come bearing coffee, you back away).


Anyhow...so...when I got this email at work today, I couldn't help but laugh. Knowing my luck, this will happen to me...it's only a matter of time.
