Five Sentence Story Friday #2

It's Five Sentence Story Friday! The task?  Using a random-generated prompt, create a story with only 5 sentences. Not the most difficult task, but not the easiest either. It'll test your long winded-ness tendencies and thinking on the fly abilities. (Want to see some examples? See previous 5 sentence story posts)

Update 11:21pm - had a blog fail today. Day job had me hopping all day, to the point that I had zero brain energy left by the time 5pm rolled around. #writerfail  I'll try to write my 5 sentence story later this weekend.
